We respect your privacy. The Harinaam app does not require you to create an account, register, or log in. We have deliberately removed all login modules to ensure you can practice your devotion completely anonymously.
2. Data Collection and Local Storage
We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external servers or databases.
All your personal app data, including your chanting progress, streaks, and preferences, is stored strictly locally on your device's internal storage or cache. This means you have full ownership and control over your data. Because the data never leaves your device, we have absolutely no access to it.
3. Data Retention and Deletion Policy
To comply with data safety standards, please note our strict data retention and deletion practices:
- Data Retention: Because we do not collect or transmit your data to our servers, we do not retain any of your data on our end. Your data is retained only locally on your physical device for as long as you keep the Harinaam app installed.
- Data Deletion: Because your data is only stored locally on your device, you have complete control over its deletion. You can instantly delete all your personal data and progress at any time by simply uninstalling the app or by clearing the app's data and cache in your phone's Settings menu. Once uninstalled or cleared, the data is permanently removed.
4. Third-Party Services (Crash Reporting)
While we do not collect personal data, the app may use trusted third-party services (such as Firebase Crashlytics) solely for the purpose of ensuring the app runs smoothly. These services may collect completely anonymous, non-personal diagnostic data (like crash logs or device models) if the app crashes, helping us fix issues faster. They do not use this data to identify you.
